How do I collect my sample?
This panel requires two sample types — a finger-prick dried blood spot (DBS) and a swab (as outlined in your kit). Follow the step-by-step instructions in your kit insert or the Boomerang Kits App. Allow the DBS card to dry completely (~60 minutes) before sealing both samples in the prepaid return mailer.
When will I see my results?
Typically within 24–48 hours after our laboratory receives your sample. You’ll receive a secure notification when your results are ready in the Boomerang Kits App.
Is my data private?
Yes. All testing is performed in our CLIA-certified laboratory under strict confidentiality. Results are encrypted, HIPAA-compliant, and accessible only through your secure Boomerang Kits App account.
What if my sample can’t be processed?
If we can’t process your sample (for example, under-filled or insufficient), we’ll notify you and send you a complimentary replacement kit.
Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
Boomerang Kits are consumer-initiated and not typically billed to insurance. You may use HSA/FSA funds where eligible. Check with your insurance provider to confirm if your plan allows reimbursement for at-home laboratory testing.
